Chaka M. Patterson has joined the litigation practice of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Chicago as of counsel. He comes to Skadden from Exelon Corp., where he held senior positions, including associate general counsel in charge of litigation; vice president, investor relations; and vice president and treasurer. Before that, Patterson spent three years with the office of the Illinois Attorney General as the assistant attorney general and chief of the Special Litigation Bureau. He also worked in private practice as a partner at Jenner & Block LLP. Patterson received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. from Amherst College.
