The Edge Comedy Club, which has been renting space at the center, has announced that its shows will end after this weekend. "Our home is no more," The Edge's Dave Odd wrote to supporters. Tony Tomaska, the owner of the theater located at 777 N. Green St., said Thursday that there was no firm deal. He would not comment further.
City Church Chicago has been renting space at the CCPA on Sundays and Mondays. A source confirmed that negotiations were underway that would see the church take over the complex in the fall.
