Four people were shot Saturday morning and Friday night, according to Chicago police.
A male whose age wasn't available was wounded in the most recent incident, in the 5800 block of South May Street in the Englewood neighborhood. He was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County with a wound to the back of his body. Police found one gun at the scene.
A 23-year-old man was shot in the hand about 11:45 p.m. and walked into Mount Sinai Hospital with the wound, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said. He had been shot three blocks south, in the 1800 block of South California Avenue in the Douglas Park neighborhood.
Someone shot a 24-year-old man in the Logan Square neighborhood about 7:55 p.m., police said. The man was wounded in the arm and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center from the scene in the 3100 block of North Sawyer Avenue.
Earlier, an 18-year-old man was shot near 110th and Throop streets in the Morgan Park neighborhood about 6:05 p.m. He was hit in the leg and his wound treated at Roseland Community Hospital.
