Opera Up Close

At Lyric Opera performances, you always wonder how a performer without a microphone can fill a hall with the sound of his or her voice. Opera Up Close gives you the chance to sit onstage with Lyric Opera stars as they perform arias from various operas. Seating is (obviously) limited, but as the Lyric's opening night approaches, this taste of the upcoming season should be a blast.

Why go: Operatic voices are remarkable instruments.

Reconsider: You'd rather have the full spectacle at the opera house.
