“Dhoom 3: Back in Action” -- the latest sequel in the popular Bollywood buddy cop series -- will shoot on and around lower Michigan Avenue Thursday and Friday.

There will be street closures from 9:30 am to 4 pm both days on lower Michigan Ave. from South Water to Hubbard St., lower Wacker from Lake Shore Dr. to Post Place, Hubbard St. from lower Michigan to Rush and mid-level Wacker from Columbus to Michigan.

But don’t expect another “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”-like shoot. All the closures are on the less busy lower Michigan Avenue level. CTA buses will not be affected.

“Dhoom 3” stars Indian actor Aamir Khan (you and I may not know who Khan is, but he has nearly 2.6 million followers on Twitter).  According to reelchicago.com, “Khan will be playing a thief who is a skilled acrobat, who eludes the hero cop and his sidekick, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra who reprise their roles in ‘Dhoom 1 and 2.’”

Taken: The tentatively titled Bravo reality show, "Taking Chicago," will shoot at Old Town Pour House Wednesday from 5-7 pm and at Sweetwater Thursday from 5-7 pm. The series is produced by Half Yard Productions.
