This is a page of sheet music from a song based on the DNA of a human gene called Connexin 26. Dr. Fernando Baquero and Dr. Aurora Sanchez Sousa of Ramon y Cajal hospital in Spain and French composer Richard Krull have translated the DNA code into easy-listening music. They have recorded what they call an audio version of the blueprint of life by assigning musical notes to units of DNA's double helix. The end product is Genoma Music, a 10-tune CD due out in February.
