Some early Chicago area farmers markets will open their tables this month with the first produce of the season--although wacky temperatures coaxed ramps and asparagus out in April this year.

This year the City of Chicago continues its partnership with Experimental Station (which runs 61st Street Market) to offer LINK access at farmers markets along with matching funds of up to $10 per market day through a program called LINK bucks.
