No injuries were reported when a car caught fire in a lower-level parking garage of a nursing home on the Near North Side, officials said.
The fire started shortly before 8:30 a.m. at the nine-story building at 66 W. Oak Street, according to fire officials.
An EMS Plan 1 was called as a precaution, sending at least five ambulances were sent to the scene. as a precaution, officials said.
As of 8:55 a.m., the fire was struck out and smoke in the garage was cleared, officials said.
