Four seriously hurt in East Garfield Park collision

A three-car collision early this morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood left four people with serious injuries, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

The crash occured at 3:05 a.m. at the intersection of West Madison Street and North California Avenue on the West Side, Chicago Fire Department spokeswoman Meg Ahlheim said.

Two people were taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County and two were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Ahlheim said. All were listed in serious-to-critical condition.
