A supporter of French Front de Gauche candidate for the 2012 French presidential election Jean-Luc Melenchon has written the word "Egalité" (Equality, one of the French Republic symbols)) on her face as she takes part in a march from Nation to Bastille, on Sunday in Paris. Thousands of people are expected to support the firebrand leftist presidential candidate Melenchon, who has shaken up France's election campaign with a surprise jump in the polls. Melenchon, represents a coalition of leftist parties including the Communists. The slogan refers to a sentence that President Nicolas Sarkozy saids to a man who refused to shake hands with him at the Paris Agricultural fair.
