Halleemah Nash has joined the Israel Idonije Foundation as chief executive. Nash will further develop the foundation's programs to develop social and emotional skills in underserved communities in Chicago, Winnipeg, Manitoba and West Africa. Nash has worked with the Chicago Bulls before launching her own philanthropy consulting firm to assist athletes and entertainers. Most recently, she managed programming for the Chicago Housing Authority. The foundation's namesake, Israel Idonije, was a Bears defensive lineman who was born in Nigeria and grew up in Canada.
