Barbara Stanwyck and Robert Taylor

Barbara Stanwyck and her husband Robert Taylor, who stopped at the Boston Oyster at the Morrison Hotel in 1947. Stanwyck was a very successful actress, making 93 movies in her career. In 1944 she was the highest paid woman in the United Sates. Stanwyck and Taylor's marriage ended in 1950, but Stanwyck said Taylor was the love of her life. (sidenote: The Morrison Hotel was the tallest building outside of New York City to have more than 40 floors. It was razed in 1965, the Chase Tower now stands in its place.)
