Jodi J. Caro has been promoted to vice president, general counsel and assistant secretary for Integrys Energy Group Inc. The move puts Caro, vice president of Legal Services, in line to succeed Barth J. Wolf as vice president, chief legal officer and secretary when he retires in September. Caro joined Integrys in 2008 to lead the company's Legal Services team. She guides the in-house legal and claims services staff and serves as the FERC Compliance Officer. She has experience in corporate governance and federal and state compliance requirements of a regulated energy company. Before that, she owned and operated a law practice that provided general counsel and corporate transactional services to clients nationwide. She previously co-founded and was general counsel of Looking Glass Networks Inc. and was an in-house attorney with MCI/ WORLDCOM (formerly MFS Communications Co.). Caro has an undergraduate degree from Marquette University and a JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
