Two Chicago residents have been charged in connection with a multi-million dollar cannabis growing operation in two Joliet houses, located on the 3500 block of Indian Head Lane and the 4700 block of W. Mallard Lane. Sinh Tran Dinh, 50, of Chicago, and Ha Tran Pham, 43, of Chicago, have been charged with manufacture and delivery of cannabis over 5,000 grams and production of more than 200 cannabis plants, both Class X felonies. Inside the home on Indian Head Lane, police say they found approximately 540 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of $3,758,000. At the home on Mallard Lane, police seized approximately 200 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of $1,392,000, police said.
