Three of the newest additions to the talk show genre have been out and about this week in the city talk show queen Oprah Winfrey once called home.
Katie Couric – whose New York-based “Katie” talk show premieres September 10 on ABC – attended an ABC luncheon in her honor Monday at Roof in The Wit hotel. The former “Today” show co-host and "CBS Evening News" anchor took part in a Q & A with guests at the luncheon.
“Steve Harvey” host Steve Harvey celebrated his son’s 21st birthday at Japonais Sunday and returned for lunch Tuesday. The comedian and “Family Feud” host is taping his talk show, which premieres September 4 on NBC, at NBC Tower.
Jenny McCarthy -- who will host a late night talk show for VH1 beginning in January -- co-hosted the Michigan Avenue magazine party Tuesday at Untitled. McCarthy is featured on the cover of the September issue.
