Laura Zimmerman has joined Aon Corp. as senior vice president and global marketing leader for Aon Hewitt. In this new role, Zimmerman is responsible for leading Aon Hewitt's global marketing strategy and bringing integrated solutions to market around health, retirement and talent, with a connection to risk. Zimmerman also serves on the Aon Hewitt executive committee. And she joins Aon's global marketing executive team, which is responsible fore the global partnership and shirt sponsorship with Manchester United. Before joining Aon Hewitt, Zimmerman was head of marketing and product at Legg Mason Global Asset Management, where she oversaw the development and execution of marketing strategy and investment and retirement solutions. Zimmerman also was a member of the Americas Distribution Senior Leadership Team. Before that, she helped Allstate Financial, a division of Allstate Insurance, grow from a traditional life insurance business to a broader personal financial services company. Zimmerman has an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
