( Antonio Perez, Chicago Tribune / August 1, 2012 ) Maura Possley, left, a press person for Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan tries to talk 43rd Ward Republican committeeman Chris Cleveland into giving her the letter he holds for Madigan. Cleveland refused stating that he wanted to make sure the letter got to Madigan's office. Cleveland eventually made it to Madigan's office and gave the complaint to another person. Republicans are asking for an investigation of First Ward Ald. Proco "Joe" Moreno, accusing him of abusing the power of his office and engaging in direct and overt religious discrimination against Chic-fil-A. |
