Marjorie Gantman, marketing director, Midtown Athletic Clubs

Marjorie Gantman has been named director of marketing for Chicago-based Midtown Athletic Clubs. 

Gantman, 36, and a former tennis pro, will be responsible for leading and managing the company's marketing function while implementing long and short-term brand strategies. She also will establish and oversee the annual  marketing and club promotions calendar.  

Gantman comes to Midtown from SportsNet New York, where she received two New York Emmys for her work as senior marketing director. She also has served as director of sponsorship marketing for World TeamTennis, a  league founded by Hall of Famer Billie Jean King.

In college, Gantman was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten player while captain of the Northwestern University women's tennis team.
