Maureen Carr has been promoted to managing director of the Corporate Asset Finance Group of CapitalSource, a commercial lender to small and mid-size businesses. Based in the firm's Chicago office, Carr is responsible for strategic direction, business development, credit and operations. She previously was senior vice president, director of capital markets for the Corporate Asset Finance Group, where she was responsible for indirect originations and new business volume syndications. "Maureen brings more than 16 years of experience in sales management, credit and finance to her new position at CapitalSource," commented Laird Boulden, president of CapitalSource. "We look forward to leveraging her deep industry knowledge as she leads the Corporate Asset Finance Group which has been an important contributor to improving loan growth across our lending platform." Carr came to CapitalSource in 2010 from Tygris Asset Finance, where sher was senior vice president and director of capital markets. Before that, Carr worked for RBS Asset Finance and Heller Financial.
