Meredith Rodriguez is a former reporter for The Chicago Tribune, where she wrote enterprise stories between breaking news assignments. Before joining the Tribune in September 2013, Rodriguez worked as a night cops reporter at the Kansas City Star and as a freelance writer in Shanghai, China, where she also taught conversational English and studied Mandarin.
