A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed and two other people were injured today in an early-morning crash involving two motorcycles and a car, authorities said.
The collision happened at about 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Lawrence and Damen avenues in the Ravenswood neighborhood, police said.
Phillip Pfister of the 4900 Block of North Keeler Avenue was pronounced dead at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center at 2:15 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
A witness said it appeared that the motorcyclists struck the vehicle as it was making a left turn at the intersection.
Chicago police confirmed the collision but had no details.
Three people were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where Pfister was later pronounced dead, officials said.
