Nancy Ruscheinski, president and chief operating officer for Edelman U.S., has added the titles of as chief innovation officer and global vice chair. She will work with executives to raise the firm's content to drive innovation, accelerate product development, foster a culture of innovation through bottom-up sourcing and explore new revenue streams, including pilots and partnerships. In 24 years with the PR firm, Ruscheinski has launched its digital practice, which is now an approximate 450-person, $80 million business. She has also piloted mobile and entertainment ventures and helped drive innovative programming for clients including Burger King, Darden, Humana, Kraft Foods, Quaker, SC Johnson and Wrigley. Before serving as president and COO for the last three years, she was president of Edelman in Chicago for seven years and led the office to become the top-ranked PR firm in the city. Ruscheinski has a B.A. in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
