Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne have been added to the list of performers for the 2014 American Music Awards, producers for the awards are expected to announce later on Tuesday.

The Young Money rappers plan on using their slots to debut new music from their upcoming albums.

Minaj will be joined by pop-rock singer-songwriter Skylar Grey for her recently released single, “Bed Of Lies.” Minaj briefly teased the emotional ballad during a medley at last weekend’s 2014 MTV Europe Music Awards in Glasgow, Scotland, which she also hosted.

Lil Wayne is expected to premiere his latest single, “Start A Fire,” lifted from his long-gestating album, “Tha Carter V.”

In what will surely be a buzzed-about performance, Wayne will be joined onstage by his Young Money signee (and rumored girlfriend) Christina Milian.

Minaj and Wayne join a list of performers that include 5 Seconds of Summer, Mary J. Blige, Garth Brooks, Charli XCX, Fergie, Selena Gomez, Imagine Dragons, Lorde, One Direction, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Iggy Azalea and Pitbull, who will also host the ceremony.

Azalea leads the pack of nominees with six nods, including artist and single of the year. Pharrell Williams, John Legend and Katy Perry follow Azalea with five nods each.

The race to watch this year is artist of the year, which has a whopping 10 acts competing for the honor. Azalea, Beyoncé, Luke Bryan, Eminem, Imagine Dragons, Legend, Lorde, One Direction, Perry and Williams are in the running.

The American Music Awards will air live on ABC from the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live on Sunday.
