Winter Block Party

The Winter Block Party for Chicago's Hip Hop Arts, a celebration of Chicago's hip-hop culture, is the next event in WBEZ's Off-Air Series. The festival will include a graffiti and street art gallery, poetry slam, DJs throughout the day, the Emcee Olympics, a break dancing battle and marketplace. The finale will be "Legends of the BodyRock: An All-City 3-on-3," a telling of Chicago's hip-hop history through archive footage and interviews, and special guest appearances. "Legends of BodyRock" will also hold the semifinal and final rounds of the break dancing battle hosted by Legendary Brickheadz.
