It’s official: Patrick Stump is a married man.
Stump, known best as the singer of Chicago-area pop punk quartet Fall Out Boy, married girlfriend Elisa Yao in Chicago Saturday (Stump’s publicist confirmed the news). Later that night, Stump and fellow Fall Out Boy members Pete Wentz and Joe Trohman headed to Angels & Kings, where Wentz is a co-owner, and stayed until closing. Stump’s dogs, for some reason, were also at Angels & Kings, which is located in the Hard Rock Hotel.
Fall Out Boy went on hiatus in 2010, but Stump has said in past interviews that the move was not permanent. The Glenbrook South High School alum, who was the best man at Wentz’s wedding to Ashlee Simpson in 2008, released his debut album “Soul Punk” last year.
Stump is an admitted Prince fan and was on hand September 24 for the "Purple Rain" singer's concert at the United Center.
