Shrapnel wound

A member of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) is treated by a comrade for a shrapnel wound in the al-Jadeida neighbourhood, in the Old City of the northern Syrian city of Aleppo. The FSA pushed into al-Jadeida, which houses a minority of Christians in the predominantly Muslim city, where heavy clashes with forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad reigned.
