Walter Thompson, 30, of the 12900 block of Page Court in Blue Island, was charged with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence after he registered a blood-alcohol level of .247, prosecturos said. Thompson was ordered held in lieu of $400,000 bail in a hearing before Cook County Criminal Court Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil midday today, prosecutors siad.
He had previously been cited for DUI, driving on a revoked/suspended license, as well as three separate tickets for leaving the scene of an accident.
Charles Kimbrough, 45, and a co-worker were unloading their trucks in the 1400 block of West 115th Street around 3 p.m. when the crash happened, police said.
Kimbrough and his co-worker opened the bay doors on their delivery trucks and were delivering beer when a gold SUV came west on 115th Street, driving fast and erractically and passing cars in the parking lane, said Tandra Simonton, a spokeswoman for the Cook County state's attorney's office.

Three people, including the bus' driver and a passenger, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The incident was recorded on CTA video surveillance.
Thompson has had two prior DUI arrests, and his license was suspended and revoked for a 2007 DUI case, prosecutors said. A warrant was out for his arrest for a violation of the terms of his conviction in the 2007 case.
