A Loop bank branch was robbed this morning, police said.
The robber was wearing a baseball cap when he entered a Bank of America Bank branch and handed a teller a note demanding cash, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan.
"The teller complied and the offender fled with an unknown amount of currency," said Sullivan.
The robbery happened about 11:30 a.m. in the 100 block of West Madison Street and no one was hurt, the officer said.
The unarmed robber is a black man with brown eyes who is between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, according to the FBI. He was wearing a dark jacket and a blue ball cap during the robbery.
