MRI shows Sox OF Quentin has sprained shoulder

An MRI of Carlos Quentin's left shoulder on Sunday morning showed "only" a sprain of the AC joint, but it is still questionable when he will be able to fully swing a bat again.

The Sox will make a decision on whether to put Quentin on the disabled list most like on Monday or Tuesday as they begin a West Coast swing.

Quentin hurt his shoulder while diving to make a catch in the first inning Saturday and was not in Sunday's lineup. He'll listed as day-to-day.

Alejandro De Aza is in right field and Alex Rios in center field. Also, Brent Lillibridge replaces Adam Dunn at first base.
