Richard Davies has joined Hospira Inc. as senior vice president and chief commercial office. He will be responsible for developing and executing Hospira's global commercial strategies and delivering profitable revenue growth across the company's portfolio of injectable drugs and infusion technologies. Davies, 50, brings to Hospira more than 20 years of strategic and operational experience through commercial management positions. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager for Japan, Asia Pacific and Latin America at Amgen. Before that, he spent 13 years in management positions at Eli Lilly & Co. Davies has a bachelor's degree in applied chemistry from the University of Portsmouth and and MBA from the University of Warwick.
