Robert Feiger has been named publisher of JUF News, the monthly publication of the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago.

With more than 40,000 subscribers, JUF News is the largest-circulation newsmagazine serving Chicago's Jewish community. Feiger has been the director of advertising sales and marketing since 2000.

In the newly created position, Feiger will oversee strategic planning and is responsible for advertising sales and marketing, circulation, business processes and scheduling for JUF News publications and Websites.

Earlier in his career, he worked with Cahners Reed Elsevier, The New York Times, Meredith and Chicago Magazine.

Feiger, 50, is a graduate of Indiana University and attended The Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
