What has chef Ryan Poli been up to since leaving Perennial to join the yet-to-open Tavernita?
Besides a work-related trip to Spain, Poli taped an episode of the Bravo reality show "Rocco's Dinner Party" in
"I saw they were casting for the show, it looked fun and interesting, so I sent in a video and résumé," Poli said by email Wednesday. "They called me and wanted me to be on the show."
During the episode, the chefs prepared a summer-themed private dinner, from the menu to the décor, for host
Poli's signature dish? Fish tacos with mango papaya salsa.
"We only had a half hour, so I wanted to do something that showed my personality and was easy for me to produce in a foreign kitchen," Poli said.
