Turns out you can find Michael Jordan at Michael Jordan’s Steak House after all.
The NBA legend has been spotted at his restaurant somewhat regularly since it opened in September 2011, including on Friday. Jordan was also there August 20 (he signed a 3-foot golf ball with his Air Jordan logo on it that will be on display this month on Michigan Ave.) and ate at the bar June 7.
From what I hear, Jordan rarely signs autographs or poses for photos at the restaurant.
The Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews, Dan Carcillo and Steve Montador dined Saturday at the newly opened BellyQ, which Jordan co-owns. Fellow Blackhawk Patrick Kane hung out at The Underground that night.
White Sox legend Frank Thomas watched the Bears game Thursday at Public House. His drink of choice? Big Hurt Beer. Former U.S. soccer star Brian McBride had lunch Friday at Mon Ami Gabi in Oak Brook.
Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau dined Sunday at Bella Via in Highland Park. The Bulls’ Jimmy Butler attended the grand opening of Jellyfish in the Gold Coast Wednesday, as did the Charlotte Bobcats’ Ben Gordon.
Green Bay Packers receiver and “Dancing with the Stars” winner Donald Driver tweeted about his visit Sunday to Sofia boutique and dined at Joe's Stone Crab later that night. The Detroit Tigers’ Prince Fielder dined Wednesday at Sunda.
While in town for NASCAR’s GEICO 400 at Chicagoland Speedway, Dale Earnhardt Jr. dined Tuesday at Japonais and Denny Hamlin and Jeff Gordon hung out Wednesday at Paris Club’s upstairs lounge, Studio Paris.
