August 22, 2008: No-Ci-O-Ni At Chicago Bull home games, when a certain Argentinean gets rolling, the crowd begins to chant "No-Ci-O-Ni." The chant is for Andres Nocioni. Tonight in Beijing, Nocioni played against the USA and the only one chanting his name was the referee. Nocioni scored 10 points but also racked up 4 fouls including a technical. He was active as usual, but some of the USA team, especially Carmelo Anthony, weren't too happy with his play. At the beginning of the second half Nocioni fouled Anthony hard. While battling for a rebound Nocioni poked Anthony in the throat with his fingers. Up to this point in the game I didn't feel like I had a good photo of Nocioni. Once I saw this frame, I knew I didn't have to concentrate on the Bull anymore.
