The Bristol's Amanda Rockman will be among the pastry chefs competing in the second season of "Top Chef: Just Desserts."
She was limited in what she could tell The Stew. "At this moment I can only say – with a big smile on my face – that I am indeed on the second season cast," she said.
The CIA-trained Texas native joined The Bristol almost a year ago after stints at the Peninsula hotel and L20. She will add the joint-BOKA/Bristol project Balena to her duties when it opens this fall.
The show will again be hosted by Food and Wine's Gail Simmons and will be judged by Johnny Iuzzini, Hubert Keller and Dannielle Kyrillos. It premieres Wednesday, Aug. 24, on Bravo.
