Vince Galloro has joined Jarrard Phillips Cate & Hancock Inc. as a senior adviser in its newly opened Chicago office. The veteran journalist is the first member of the health-care public affairs firm's Chicago office. He will work with Midwestern health-care organizations in times of significant transition, challenge and opportunity. Most recently, Galloro covered the hospital industry for Modern Healthcare, focusing on the financial, growth and operational strategies of hospital organizations. Before joining Modern Healthcare in 2000, he worked for the Daily Herald newspaper, covering local government and business. Galloro has a bachelor¿s degree in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
