The woman was walking north along Sheridan when the bus, which had been going south on Sheridan, made a left turn onto Bryn Mawr Avenue to head east and struck the woman, according to police.
The driver of the bus was issued a ticket for not yielding the right-of-way to a pedestrian, police said.
The bus was operated by a private company and was taking about 60 students between its Lake Shore and
