How long have you played volleyball? Four years.
What do you love most about volleyball?
The great feeling that you get after you win a hard-fought match against a quality opponent, because you know that you not only played well individually, but also as a team.
What are your goals for this season? How will you achieve them?
To beat Wheaton-Warrenville South for the first time since I have been in high school, as well as make it to state in the playoffs. I plan on working hard every day in practice in order to get better and to make sure that we play like a team.
What are you looking forward to most this season?
I am looking forward to playing against all of my club teammates this year when we play all the different schools in our conference.
Do you have any rituals or superstitions when you play?
I have my routine before I serve which is to dribble the ball twice, pause, dribble it once more and then spin the ball in my hand.
Who has inspired you most in your athletic endeavors?
My mom because she was the one that got me into volleyball in the first place and gives me my competitive spirit.
If you didn’t play volleyball, what would you be doing?
I would most likely be playing some other sport, such as soccer or basketball. Otherwise I would just be working a lot more and I would have more time to watch Netflix.
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Frank Lampard, (a soccer player for Chelsea Football Club), because of the dedication and loyalty he shows to his team and his sport and the amount of hard work he puts into his sport is an inspiration.
What hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside volleyball?
I enjoy playing soccer and playing video games with my friends.
