Here are the top deals to be found at Chicago Jewel-Osco grocery stores for the week of June 16, with coupon matchups. I don't list every item from the Wednesday grocery ad, only those that are close to their low prices or those that have a good coupon available. It's a slow week at Jewel-Osco; the only decent deals I see this week are 99-cent cantaloupe and a deal for Pepsi and the Ron Santo book.
While you're at Jewel this week, look for the new Fresh Summertime Fun coupon book. It's blue-bordered this time, and the coupons inside include $1/2 Johnsonville, $1 off Arctic Shores shrimp, $1 off Hidden Valley Ranch dressing, and get a free 7.5 oz. 8-pack Coke when you buy three 12-packs cans.

- The "save $20 on groceries when you buy $100 worth of gift cards" deal is still going through June 22. the coupon you get is a store coupon with a one-week expiration date, so if you're picking up groceries and gift cards, it's best to get the gift cards first and then spend the coupon right away. If you're thinking of making a purchase, consider stopping at Jewel first to get a gift card -- this week I used one like this for Kohl's, and kicked myself for not buying one for my Lands' End order.
- Save $5 on "Ron Santo: A Perfect 10" when you buy five 2 liters of Pepsi products @ 89 cents each. So, let's see, spend $4.45 on pop, get $5 off the book. So they're paying you 65 cents to add the pop to your order. Wondering if this is worth returning the book, which I already bought for Father's Day, and repurchasing?
MANUFACTURER'S COUPONS IN THE AD
$3/3 American Greetings cards, excluding those priced at 99 cents, expires 7/2 (I think I read that there are some at $1.29 or something like that)
