Here are the top deals at Chicago supermarket Dominick's for the week of June 16. I don't list every sale in the Wednesday flyer, only the ones that I think are a good deal or that have good coupons available.
My favorite deals at Dominick's this week are the 12 oz. frozen Mama Lucia meatballs for $1. This only happens once in a great while, and I'm stocking up for those quick weeknight spaghetti and meatball dinners. Maybe I'll get some buy one, get one free Classico pasta sauce to go along with it, since after the $1/2 coupon it comes to $1.35 a jar.
Now, before we go on to the all-week deals, a couple notes about Dominick's: They no longer accept expired coupons. They no longer accept a coupon for the free items in BOGO or similar offers. That means that you can only use one manufacturer's coupon for a pair of BOGO items, contrary to the policy at most other stores. However, in my experience they are still accepting BOGO coupons and $X/2 coupons -- for instance if you have a $1 off 2 coupon, you should be able to use it on a pair of items that are buy one, get one free.
