George Barris’ Culver City car show
NICE RIDES
You’ve seen them on the screen, but Saturday you have a chance to get up close. The legendary George Barris, who has designed cars for more than 1,000 films and television projects, will showcase many of his creations – including the Batmobile, the Munsters’ Koach (pictured), the Beverly Hillbillies’ car, the Love Bug, General Lee from “The Dukes of Hazzard” and the cars from “Starsky and Hutch” and “Vanishing Point” – at the George Barris’ Cruisin’ Back to Culver City Car Show. In addition, more than 400 classic hot rods and customs, some dating to the 1940s, will be on display. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Culver Boulevard between Duquesne and Canfield avenues, Culver City. Free. (310) 344-8033
