Generation six for one of the few front-wheel-drive hatches that gets enthusiasts all, well, enthusiastic. Technically, this is a concept car, but the production GTI shouldnt look too different. Power comes from a 210-hp, 2.0-liter four and one transmission option will no doubt be VWs excellent DSG twin-clutch semi-auto box. Changes to the chassis should make this more fun to drive than the perfectly respectable generation-five model. Its due to hit European streets next April, and the sooner it gets here the better.
