The Rancho Mirage home purchased for $3 million by Coco Crisp of the Boston Red Sox was formerly owned by Rachel McLish, who won the first U.S. Women's Body Building Championship in Atlantic City in 1980.
McLish, co-owner of three Texas health clubs, was crowned Ms. Olympia in 1980 and 1982. Since she retired from the sport, she has appeared in several workout videos.
The 52-year-old McLish designed all of the interiors in Crisp's newly purchased 8,500-square-foot house.
Kathy Doyle of Keller Williams, Beverly Hills, and Jeff Miller of Re/Max, Rancho Mirage, handled the transaction.
