Emmy-winning TV writer and creator Seth MacFarlane must be printing money. The creator of "The Family Guy" and "American Dad!" just plopped down $13.5 million for a house in Beverly Hills that wasn't listed, real estate sources said.
MacFarlane is considered the highest-paid TV writer in history after inking a deal in May with 20th Century Fox TV, a unit of News Corp., that will pay him at least $100 million. He also recently signed a deal with Google to produce short cartoons for the Web. The cartoons, "Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy," will be paired with advertisements placed on targeted websites including YouTube.com, which Google owns.

MacFarlane, with money oozing from his every pore, is 34 years old and single. I'm thinking he might like to meet my cousin, the one with the great personality.
Few details about the house could be gleaned, since it wasn't on the market, but it reportedly has about 5,300 square feet, with three bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. It also has a 1,000-square-foot detached guesthouse. There is a tennis court and pool. The selling point apparently was the view, said to be of the Los Angeles Basin and pretty spectacular.
Ed Fitz of Prudential Beverly Hills represented the buyer, according to real estate agents.
