Two price reductions later, Tony Danza sells in Sherman Oaks
“Who’s the Boss?” star Tony Danza may have learned that it wasn’t him in this real estate market.
Danza, 57, initially listed his 6,778-square-foot Sherman Oaks house at $6.15 million. It was subsequently dropped in price to $5.65 million. The Multiple Listing Service shows a sale price of $5 million.
The house has five bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms and sits on 2.3 acres in the exclusive Longridge Estates area. Cape Cod in style, the home underwent a substantial remodel in 1997. The gated property includes a guesthouse, tennis court, batting cage and pool-spa.
Danza was part of the ensemble cast of TV’s “Taxi” from 1978 to 1983 and then starred in the sitcom “Who’s the Boss?” from 1984 to 1992. He owns a 1,392-square-foot beachfront home in Malibu, according to public records.
Howard Graham of Prudential Realty, Encino, was the listing agent for the Sherman Oaks property.
