Nikki

Nikki is a pretty and shy seven-year-old Ridgeback/Pit Bull-mix looking for a loving home as the one and only pet.

Nikki was raised at a food flavor testing facility in Kankakee, Illinois. She lived in a dog run and lacked socialization and training - along with about 200 other dogs and cats. When the company moved to St Charles, Missouri, they had the choice of re-homing, or euthanizing. Luckily a trainer came along willing to work with her, and try to re-home her. Nikki is now crate-trained and walks well on leash.

She has been working with a trainer since December to help adjust to life outside the testing facility. Although shy, she is doing well with people, and gets along with select dogs when properly introduced. Nikki is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. She is looking for a home where someone has time to continue her training, give her plenty of exercise.
To meet and possibly adopt Nikki, please fill out an adoption application on the web at www.cbbr.info/application.html
Her adoption fee of $150 supports the rescued dogs of CBBR. For more information, please contact Carolyn at chicagopitbulls@earthlink.net
