HARBOR SPRINGS -- The Rev. Jim Pollard will preach at the 10 a.m. Sunday, March 24, worship service at First Presbyterian Church in Harbor Springs. The topic, "When We Feel Unwanted," is derived from Luke 19:28-40. The congregation will participate in a processional, singing hymns that commemorate the entrance of Christ to Jerusalem. The chancel choir will sing George Clark's "Draw Nigh to Thy Jerusalem" and pianist Peter D. Sims and keyboardist Sally Page will play a duet for the offertory.
Adult education class begins at 8:55 a.m. and Sunday'S cool (for elementary age children) begins at 10:15 a.m.
Lenten soup suppers continue at 6 p.m. on Thursdays, and on Maundy Thursday, March 28, John Rutter's "Requiem" will be performed following the meal.
