Production version of the all-new luxury compact sedan is being unveiled at Chicago auto show (concept version debuted in Detroit). The ILX is coming this spring with three powertrains, including the first gas-electric Acura hybrid. The ILX is an entry-level model to get first-time buyers in the family. Powertrains offered include: a 2-liter 4-cylinder; a high-performance 2.4-liter four paired with a six-speed manual; and a 1.5-liter gas/electric hybrid for conservationists. Content will include keyless entry, push-button start, Pandora Internet radio interface and SMS text message function for smart connectivity with the world, side air bag curtains, stability control, rear view camera, navigation system, and a technology package that incorporates all the sophisticated electronics Acura has to offer.
