The struggling retail giant, whose headquarters (pictured) are in suburban Hoffman Estates, said last month that it was in early talks with officials from several states to relocate. Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn responded to the news by saying the state's Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity would work to keep the company in the state. Sears has called the Chicago area home since 1887.
