Ronald Atkins has joined the Illinois Middle Market Banking team at Charter One as senior vice president and senior middle market relationship manager. Atkins, 54, manages portfolios for existing clients and develops new business. A 20-year commercial banking veteran, Atkins spent the last 10 years at JP Morgan Securities in Chicago, most recently as executive director. He also put in 10 years at American National Bank in Chicago. He received an MBA from Northwestern Universitys Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a bachelors degree from Indiana University. Charter One also added Mirko Andric, 38, to the Middle Market Banking team as a vice president and middle market senior portfolio manager. Andric brings to the job nearly a decade in credit underwriting and analysis, loan structuring and portfolio management most recently with Freeport Financial. Both are based in Chicago.
